Now in our 5th generation, we are a proudly family run furnishing retailer with roots stretching all the way back to 1811. Nestled in the beautiful coastal town of Penzance, surrounded almost entirely by sea, we hold a unique place in history as the oldest furniture retailer in the UK and the oldest family run business in Cornwall. While tradition is at the heart of everything we do, we’re always evolving. In 2021, we expanded our offering to include a carefully curated range of bedlinen, toys, games, jigsaws, books and gifts. Today, our collection features over 2,000 thoughtfully chosen items, bringing together much loved brands such as Playmobil, Sylvanian Families, The Puppet Company, Tonies, House of Marbles, The Fine Bedding Company, Janod, Keel, & many more.

This department has gone from strength to strength, and we’re delighted to now share it beyond our shop through our online store and delivery service. We genuinely love what we do and are passionate about offering beautiful, high quality products that are made to be enjoyed, treasured and loved.
